** Lovely Cube **
On the photos mid way down the page, some resistors look dirty and sketchy. Are they high quality resistors or should I replace them? Now i'm wonder what else might of been skimped on.

I wouldn't worry about it. Scratch marks can be created by any sort of pliers/tweezers that might be used to ease in the construction process, especially if these are laid out by hand etc. The external appearance wont have any bearing on the performance of the part, unless of course the resistor is cracked in two or something.
I've got a Lovely Cube and I gave it a good look after it arrived.
Very good build quality and everything looks fine in the 'quality component' dept., IMO.
It also sounds great, IMO.
Enjoy your amplifier.

I thought of something radical and crazy! If I buy 2 lovely cubes, can I create a balanced lovely cube??
