Hi
I just recently inherited a pair of Lowther drivers. They have been in storage for a loooong time, they look old and not in their best shape...
Anyone can help me identifying what model these drivers are?
Thanks
F.

Pretty sure it is a PM6C. Slight chance it is a PM2C, would need a photo from the side to be sure.
Do you want to sell them?
I don't know yet, but since they seem to be "basic" Lowthers I think I'll have some fun... replace surrounds and spiders, build a horn, hook up a triode.....! 😀

Thank you Jon
They come in so many variations I could not "Google-identify" them. Can you tell how old they are?
I attached a photo from the side... I have the original pear shaped plugs to.

I'm thinking PM7 is another possibility based on some google images. Laying a ruler across it would give some indication if size. Hard to tell size just from the image.

Thanks!
I attached some photos with a ruler.

That's impressive.
Looks to me like the surround needs replacing, and the spider might've sagged a bit.
Fixed up, they'll probably be worth quite a bit of money. Full-range drivers aren't my cup of tea (too many compromises in things I like, such as bass), but you might be able to make something you'll enjoy.
I'd recommend measuring the T/S parameters.
