I have some parts that I'm trying to ID the manufacturer of. The first one is a resistor that has a mfr symbol with an "A" in a diamond (that also has a "W" or a "pulse"), but I can't find anything doing some searching around. I can't find any info on what CPX1 stands for, either. Otherwise, it looks to be a 768 ohm 1% tolerance resistor and measures 771 when I test it. I first thought it might be a '50s-'60s era wirewound, but stumbled across a carbon film with endcaps that have a similar look... Either way they're solid and heavy. Any masters out there know or care to wager a guess? I've attached an image for reference. Thanks!

I don't think so based on the logo. From what I've seen, the CR was in the form of a shield but this logo is different featuring an "A" within the diamond. On a side-note, the CPX1 is also marked on different resistor values, so I'm not sure what that stands for.
