I built a pair of full range speakers last year from Common Sense Audio (the 1.3s) that sound so, so good. The only problem I have is that the bass isn't quiiiiiite there, which isn't a problem now because I can just fiddle with the EQ on my preamp. But seeing as how I'll soon be building an integrated amp w/o EQ, it would be nice if the speakers didn't roll off the bass so much. I love the simplicity and constitutional purity of full range speakers, but it seems like the'd have to be pretty huge to deliver really solid bass.
I'd be interested in building a smaller set of speakers but don't have access to table saws or other fun woodworking machines. I know there are probably more places that sell speaker flat paks / kits than I'm finding. Madisound and Parts Express are the only two I can find. Do you guy have any suggestions or recommendations?
Bookshelf or floorstanding, multi-way or full range. My limit's about $600 for a set.

We do a limited number of FR flat-paks. Frugal-Horn Mk3, a slate of milliSize enclosures for a range of Fostex & Mark Audio drivers, and a microSize for MA A6.2 and another for FF85wk.
More are under development. We are experimenting with the idea of solid western red cedar flat-paks of the uFonkenSET trapezoids for the FF85.

More of Bernie's superb work. I do hope that between Bernie & Chris they can figure out a flat-pak. Then early adopters will essentially be taking a flyer/bring beta testers. Being solid, they need to go thru at least a full set of seasons to see if they hold together as the humidity cycles.
The FPs won't be cheap, but that should be offset abit by post -- they will be light.
