idea: TANG BAND W6-1139SC and fe166 bipole

i have been thinking about trying some larger full range drivers and was thinking about really low tuned enclosures...but i dismissed the idea until another one came along

The fostex fe166 in a bipole type enclosure similar to the BD pipes on daves site...

with the tang band 6.5" woofer on the back to lower the bass...

so good or no good?

No good. The Fostex is 94 dB/1W/1m, and the TB is 83 dB/1W/1m. Not even close. You want something on the bottom to do all the bass and make the Fostex worry about midrange and higher.
