Idea for a smart AV Receiver

Hey Guys

I'm looking into the concept of creating a new dev board, like a Raspberry Pi or a BeagleBoard. This board would be designed to be the center of a smart AV Receiver. It would include HDMI-In functionality with the ability to overlay on top of HDCP passthrough to TV.

Does anyone have any ideas about this concept, or interest in working on it?
