I have a couple of ICEpower 500 modules here that need gate drivers. The drivers on the board are marked as 2100 which brings me to the ISL2100 datasheet here. This is where it get's confusing. Not only am I having a hard time finding the ISL2100 in an SOIC-8 package, page 3 of the datasheet tends to suggest it isn't available in this package. Only DFN. But the board is definitely using SOIC-8.
Was this a custom package order for ICE? Has anyone found a substitute for this that works? The datasheet states this is a pin compatible improvement upon the HIP2100 but I don't know if this design depends on those improvements. Am I overlooking something obvious? Thanks!
