Hello everyone,
I stumbled upon the new development made by IcePower , named IceEdge which is a chipset platform to be used in power amps.

It is interesting and Devialet also miniaturized their amps to very small dimensions, so it would be a matter of time until someone else would try to get a huge power density. Now, for how many microseconds the do it, I don't know.
I also like the protection scheme and after listening to ASP series which sounded very good, this new product might deserve a try.
What do you think of it?

I have been researching the icepower for sometime, trying to figure out when to make one. I have in the past made a chinese cheap class d amp but wasn't impressed with its lack of solid deep bass (it sounded a bit thin). So I'm going to build a icepower amp soon.
I figured where can I get one of these new iceedge modules, they sound like a cool thing to try.

Looks interesting, and seems to be in accordance with new design tendencies. If you know about Anaview class D amplifier modules and Patrik Bostrom, it's main developer, you may be interested in his new micro designs, search for "Audio Bricks".
