How to open the Sure-hifi 2 X 50W TDA7492 Amplifier case?
Hi, I need to open and exchange the power socket on this amp as it's faulty (I pushed wrong adapter in a bit too hard). The problem is that after removing the 4 front and back screws the board is stuck to the front plate due to the volume knob while at the back the terminal connectors are in the way as I can't seem to detach them.
Has anyone opened such a case and could give me some pointers? Thanks!

i am probably answering your question way to late, for it to be of any use for you. However because other people may have the same problem, i'm going to answer it anyway 😛.
It is actually is really simple, you just have rotate the bolts on the banana connectors on the back. Then the banana connectors get lose and you will be able to remove the back of the amplifier. After that you also can remove the front and the circuit board that is connected to it.
