Hopefully more chocolaty than peanut buttery.
Peanut butter is among the top ten most disgusting foods in the universe.

Right under Vegemite. 😉
(Actually I've never had it, but I imagine it must be disgusting. Vegemite, that is... Peanut butter I like, just not on its own. With chocolate, as Nelson suggests. 😀 )

Sounds like synesthesia to me. I've always wondered if Fulton, with his discription of things sounding "brown" or "orange" or whatnot, was a synesthete. I remember people making fun of him at the time, but it might really have been the way he perceived things.

It's almost as good as putting thermal paste on household appliances/people to improve their thermal conductivity.

My cousin from australia came up a year or two ago, and he brought with him a container of vegemite. It has been sitting on the back of a shelf somewhere untouched since he went back home. Its definitely the kind of taste you have to grow up with to enjoy. Whats that stuff made of anyways?

I recall the phenomenon of synethesia,
but who is Fulton, in this case?
😕

(and nice to see you back, Grey. 🙂 )

All about Vegemite here:
http://www.vegemite.com.au/
Its made out of brewer's yeast (yum!), it's
packed with B vitamins as a result.
Good and good for you, as the saying
goes.
Erik
(Google rocks! You can ask it to tell you
the history of Vegemite and it doesn't
give you a blank stare or ask you why
... it just .quietly and efficiently gets it for
you.)
vegemite? Brewer's yeast? Good on salads, everything's better than peanut butter.
synesthesia? What's that? Synergistic anesthesia? Probably if you eat just enough.

Vegemite
Vegemite, of course, is a low intensity version of Marmite for wimpy colonials 😀 The Australasian version of Marmite is just as bad.
If the Aleph-X sounds like Vegemite then I may not bother... Smooth and dark brown is not enough without the cutting edge.

synesthesia is a fusion of the senses. Things like "seeing music"
and (my favorite) "tasting words".
Example of the latter: a fellow who claimed to be able to taste
words used to date a woman by the name of Tracy. Unfortunately
the sound of her name reminded him of (get this) "flakey pastry".
Evidentally that was just too much of a gross-out for the man;
they broke up.

After A Big Night Out......
Vegemite on hot buttered toast is the best morning after cure - sort of like a Berocca that you can eat.
Peanut butter and jelly ? - yechhh.
Eric.
