I've had a few Chinese 300Bs last less than a few months (Guiguang/Psvane), and I've listened to plenty of TJ/Sophia 300Bs with 10+ years of use on them that sounded OK. You do want to start measuring them periodically after about the ten year mark though if they have heavy use on them.
I serviced a pair of amps a couple of years ago with first generation TJ 2A3s in them that had finally worn out. I had a laugh at the amp owner, as he wanted to know if there was anything that could be done to resurrect the tubes. Obviously he'd gotten a ton of life out of them!
As far as Russian tubes go, I have had plenty of EH 300Bs in service, but I have yet to exhaust any of them.
