The diagram indicates a current of approximately 0.005 fA, assuming electrons were 10^30 times more massive.

I can't help but wonder if the monkeys took note of the secondary emission from the plate and assigned "supressor monkeys" to increase efficiency? 😀
That sneaky grid leak monkey in the corner has the right idea - He's goin to go to earth with the rebound stash
More proof of Dawin's theory of evolution... "Tube Monkey" evolved into "Transistor Man"...
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Great book, still waiting for the new edition. 😀
And don't forget his "silicon" sister (with the manager mister)! groan... 🙄"Tube Monkey" evolved into "Transistor Man"...
Uh, has anybody got any idea as to what the little simians are really throwing? The last time I went to the zoo, it certainly wasn't coconuts! I believe I'm gonna think twice before dissecting a dud tube... 😉

Limes - thats why electrons are green.

In this case, I would suspect they are more brown...
Is it my imagination, or does "Transistor Man" look like a cross between Popeye and the Tidy-Bowl man? Either way, I suspect he hasn't had his spinach (if the flaccid appearance of his forearms is any indication...).
Let us hope the grid monkey has not heard of Maxwell's demon, otherwise we would get a very strange transfer function with all the electrons building up in one half of the valve.

Yeah? Then now come we don't see tube monkeys evolving into transistor men?

More to the point, since it seems N devices male, are P devices female? And if so, how did that occur from the singluar polarity tube monkey?
