Hi, I have a really nooby question, but I just wanted to double-check...
I have just bought a Power-One HDD-15-5-AG supply for my mixing console, and had a question about the mains wiring aspect. It says for 240V operation, pins 2 and three on the transformer should be jumpered, and AC applied at 1 and 4. This seems straightforward enough - currently 1-2, and 3-4 are jumpered, so I'll un-jumper those, apply (fused) Active at pin 1, neutral at pin 4, and jumper 2 and 3. Then I connect earth to... the power supply chassis?
I'd really appreciate if someone could look over this!
(I'm also happy to remove this thread later if it's not valuable to keep up).
