high contrast LCD panels

I am looking for high contrast ratio LCD but only found them (1000:1) in the 17" size.

Anybody with experience striping 17" from Dell or Samsung ?
Anybody found >600:1 15" LCD ?

I don't think your gonna have much luck in the commercial market. Also, a great deal of the 17" lcd's I saw with the 1000:1 contrast only had 25ms response time, which I hear is far from ideal for a projector.
