Hi to the Forum! It was great to find such a vibrant and active group. The projects I've seen here are simply amazing, as is the depth of skill and the willingness to share and help!

I'm back into "project" phase with a tube audio amplifier. I grew up with tubes, and have always considered that "real radios have glow-bottles".

It's been WAY too many years since I enjoyed the warm aroma of a tube amplifier - or the crispy aroma of carbonized resistors:drool: Sorry, but the sandy-stuff just doesn't blow nearly as dramatically as a tube circuit!!

Not that I intend to make that a habit - it just goes with the territory.

Seriously, a BIG thanks to all of the members who have shared their ideas, problems, help, and their "babies" here - even you solid-state guys:) And a REALLY BIG thanks to the admins and folks who sacrifice their sanity to keep this site sane!!

If I'm lucky enough to get my project running, I'm looking forward to sharing it here.

After all, to most people an audio system is just something that plays music. That's important, no doubt, but the real fun is squeezing that music out of electrons going through wires you've sweated blood to get soldered correctly!

Only the tecchie guys can really appreciate the magic behind the knobs!

If I'm lucky enough to get my project running, I'm looking forward to sharing it here.

Every now and again even I get lucky and share something. Az to it's worth to others - hmmmmmmmmm.......

Greetings Dude and diy members
New here also diy, registered to contribute and learn. Been into audio sense teens have several examples of desirable 'stuff'. Currently 1019 1229 duals under my repair plus toasted beloved marnatz dc300 which is above my pay scale so hmm. Currently running Kenwood kt8300 / Yamaha ca1000/ b&w dm3000's here and dynaco70 celestron sl12's there. And more stuff around the house always looking but not too hard for more. So hello all and good day
