Just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Keenan, from Cleveland, OH USA.
I enjoy two-channel audio but my real passion is high-end headphone listening, especially via tube amplifiers. In the past, I have assembled my own headphones and made modifications to headphones, built a few Bottlehead kits, made circuit modifications to other tube amps, and recently restored a Jackson tube tester.
Things are getting more serious now as I have decided to do a full headphone amplifier build from scratch! Including schematic design. So I figured it was time to make an account here, hoping to pick the brains of the very knowlgeable members and hopefully make my own contributions along the way as I learn
I am not an engineer, just a hobbyist, but my first degree is helping me figure things out (chemistry, with obligatory math and physics).
