I've bought some Isophon alnico drivers, and looking for someone with better diy skills and tools than i have to help with the 120 lt. cabinets. Design not yet finalized. Any ideas appreciated.
You won't want to hear this but last week I threw away two nice 110 litre cabinets. I had been trying to find a home for them for 18 months!

Hi Neighbour!
I did not have precision sawing equipment when I set out
to build my Petit Filou speakers. They consist of a total of 72 mdf pieces making up a total of over 13.5 square meters. Since I needed precision down to 0.1 mm, I hade the sawing done by B&Q. I used their store in Slough. Just gave them a paper with all the mdf sheet dimensions, and they did a superb job. They charge 50p per cut, so the sawing costed me about GBP100 in total.
If you don't have a car they can deliver everything to you.

😱
Damn, that's a lot of money! My local woodyard does all cutting for free as policy, only charging for the MDF, which was about half what B&Q were charging anyway. I did feel a bit cheeky though when doing some laminated cabinets a few years ago. They were 22 layers of 18mm MDF, so 44 panels the pair, dread to think how much that would have been at Block & Quayle!
If you do need someone to do the main cuts and it's your only option though, then so be it. I'd search for some smaller local merchants first if that's the route you want to take.
Well if you fancy a trip to Romford, Essex in a few weeks time I'll be working on some cabinets at work. You can pop along and I'll do the main cuts to get you started. You'd have to take it all home to assemble though.
Cheers,.
