Please can anybody help? I am trying to remove the drawer/tray on my Teac VRDS-9 which will not open or close when pressing the open/close button. I can hear a motor whirring and a ticking sound. I have found what appears to be a white plastic gear tooth on the larger black gear that sits above a white gear located in the middle of the drawer. I was wondering if the motor drives a belt to open and close the tray or if it is purely gear driven. Many thanks for any help on my first post. Andrew

It is the same gear wheel that has to be replaced.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I ordered the part noted above a little while ago as I could not source anything cheaper. I had it fitted, cleaned the laser and the Teac is now working perfectly.
