I have nice Tascam M-320B mixer with 5 bad channels. Odds are (I think) that I have blown Op Amps. They are NE5532AN chips marked as follows...
NE5532AN
QFP7492
8821VG
with a large "S" in the upper left corner by the leading "N" in NE5532AN.
(See attached photo)
I want to be sure I replace the existing chips with as exact a match as possible.
Help with IDing these chips or suggesting replacements that would be safe to use would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Without seeing the picture, most likely Philips.
The part is out of production but still available.

Try again, it has nothing to do with moderation.
Besides, your registered now. 🙂
If the pic is on your local hard drive, try using the 'Attach file' option.

Ouroboros said:The 'S' , together with the part numbering, seems like the old Signetics division of Philips.
You are 100% right, I have couple of these in my Rotel cd player...and after all this years they still sounds fine to my old ears😀
I found it! It is Signetics. Here is a cool IC Chip Logo link...

Hi ,
I don't know why you are worried about it .
Any brand of NE5532 , will do the job , in the same way .
But if you care , there is no doubt , the NE5532AN , that you
had mentioned is a PHILIPS .
Regards ,
Carlos

Thanks for sharing the logos link, very interesting.
I could spot at least 30 logos of companies that are no longer in business.
IC manufacturing is truly merciless.
