Help a beginning enthusiast out

I listen to tons of electronic music and I have a nice pair of B&W 684 floorstanding loudspeakers. I have an onkyo tx-8050 receiver which I wish to replace. I am looking to build my own amplifier with Hypex modules but I have no idea if I could pull off the project on my own. I've build a computer but that requires no knowledge really. Exactly how hard is it to build one of these things, and is there any good site that has a tutorial or anything on how to do it? Are there any kits for this kind of thing? Or am I better off with something easier, like an Aussie Amps module with a build in power supply? Any sort of reply is GREATLY appreciated.

If you are going to construct one using ready available modules, you will not have much problems if you learn to solder the wires as and when needed. But you will find that the convenience of a ready made product is difficult, if not impossible.

It will definitely sound better when made by parts/kits from reputed designers.
