Lucky you, San Jose is very close to an active DIY audio community. You will find that there is lots of cool stuff going on in the area if you read the forums and look at the signatures of each poster to see where they are from. But with the internet age there is no limit to where we can communicate, so you will find here people from all over the world sharing their projects and ideas and asking questions. Join in on the conversation!
Edit: Since you didn't post any location information, I ASSUME you mean San Jose, CA USA and not San Jose, Costa Rica (although we have at least one DIYer who has recently relocated to that area from the Bay Area!)
