This is for inmate turk 182 "where did you find that product literature!? sometimes it's next to impossible to find old pre-net stuff unless someone preserved and uploaded it."
I have two pamphlets from the 70s Heil Sound. first one:

Nice posts! Does Heil Sound still exist?
Yes - not the same products in the old pamphlets, but todays Ham radio and Pro Audio.

turk 182 -I will look up ProSound and try to post.
So I registered and tried to upload, they have a 512Kb each size requirement. Not accepted as attachments.
My above scans were 1-1.5Mb each to start, diyAudio resized them to 550 to 900Kb each. They are still very readable here.
The early Heil Sound systems had a profound effect on my loudspeaker collection.
In the early 70's I got two blown up Altec A7-500s from a local band for $200. I refurbished them with stock components and they sounded awesome.
I listened to the Heil Tr-ax system used by the James Gang at a fairgrounds concert. Sold my rebuilt A7s for $400 and got a new 1975 Klipsch LaScala including shipping for $425.
Later I built several systems based on the Heil Citation. I still use/have these in my near field kit.

Hello turk 182, in the above pix I have the EV ST350A tweeter, EV SM120A horn with an EV 1824M driver, and two EV 15B woofers. The bass box is sized as a 7 cu/ft center slot ported tuned at 43Hz. Similar to the EV TL606B with 15Ls. Mine would be a TL506B that EV didn't name, per DBKeele.
The speaker has 107dB/W so the pair is 110dB/W. The 15Bs are Pro-line.
As for my LaScala it has always been the center channel for my modified Klipschorns, I also have a pair Belles for rear surround duty. I have an EV 15B in the LaScala, also I sawed off the top portion of the Klipsch box, added two pcs of 3/4 plywood to the outsides of the bass horn and changed the mid horn to the EV HR-90.
I also needed a Large horn and BR sub

Alright, YOU need to post pics of your whole system! That center channel is WICKED!
I did post about my near field rig in the multi-way section, not much interest at the time. But then I did not ask any questions!
