Damaged the tweeter, so the company sent me a new driver, which I will use in my next speaker design..

Very neat. Do you buy the drivers from KEF directly? I'm just curious in case I ever need a replacement for mine.

Yes, but you have to show the purchase receipt and serial # before they will sell you one, so if you still have it, keep it.
Good question. Luckily, mine was still under warranty, but Speaker Exchange sold(sells?) them for around $112 a piece,so I imagine it would be around that amount

I also had to prove to them with a photograph that the tweeter was damaged. There is very little clearance between the tangerine waveguide element and the tweeter diaphragm, and apparently the tweeter diaphragm became dented by coming in contact with it. This damage showed up in measurements as a large resonant peak at 10khz. I wonder how often this actually happens and goes unnoticed, especially in the inexpensive models with low element crossovers.
