Hi diy'ers
I have no specific amplifier topology in mind. I have built valve amps, and old school class AB solid state amps before. I'm thinking a class D option might be good.
I have a transformer (33-0-33 300VA) that wants an audio job. In the SS and valve world, I would be able to quickly determine my options with the given power supply.
I have tried checking out some of these cheap ebay modules, but it looks like I have to check datasheets to get an idea of what output power is achievable. There seems to be so many chipsets available.
Is there a resource I can look up of currently available chipsets and the voltages required to get 'x' watts. Failing that, can anyone suggest something useful for 33-0-33? Aiming to use as much of the va rating (or more!) as practical.
Thanks

It looks like the UCD180HG would do well with +/-45V. That's what I'm building an amp based on, and their SMPS is +/-46V.
