Pre Amp Amplifier Board Kit Tube 6N2 SRPP Good for DIY | eBay
Looks simple and well I like that.
An isolation 110v transformer with a 6-9v tap is pretty common to find. I just want to check if anyone liked/disliked the sound.
Thanks.
Srinath.

6N2 is similar to 12AX7/ECC83. An SRPP will have a voltage gain of somewhere between 50 and 100 (so far too high for a line stage), and quite high output impedance (maybe 10-20k) so weak at driving a cable. Difficult to think what it could be used for, except possibly the voltage amplifier stage of a power amp.
Your blog
Hey man, I saw this on your blog. That looks great. I will think about what you did, I was planning on putting this and my TAS5630 in 1 chassis and let switching work manually (as in the man will unplug and plug in the right source). But your idea - hats off to you, definitely needs thinking about.
Cool.

I guess my next question is -
Has anyone tried this -
YJ 6N3 Tube Preamplifier Kit New | eBay
The difference appears to be 1 6N3 tube vs 2, but it only 1 ac 12v supply. I can feed it with the winding I will put in the MOT I plan to rewind. So its power supply could be free or, almost so, the wire is already here and I should have 20ft left atleast. Plenty for a 12v AC winding for switching and the pre amp.
Cool.

Before to start saying such kind of things its prior to see that schematic some may be iterested in a cheap tube preamp, because we don´t have the same available things
