How did we pass this up ? -- the transistor had it's 60th birthday on December 16th -- Elektor email mentioned this morning.

Can you imagine some scientists coming up with that these days ? They'd be fired on the spot!!

It's amazing that modern transistorised electronics evolved from something that looks so crude 🙂
