Hafler DH-220

For Sale - Hafler DH-220. Bought off ebay in non working condition just for the donor chassis. Turned out to be a relatively simple fix - don't want to ruin its inherent value by gutting it, so up she goes. How about $160+ship? Or pick up in Chicago West Suburbs...maybe a good trade possible?

No! that was a complicated fix. I fixed a blown Audio Research D76A where a nut had fallen off the transformer and landed on the circuite board and was shorting it out. Put the nut back on the transformer and all was well.

Ha! Maybe that is a little easier...

I had a ARC D75 that had the big Diodes blown and took me forever to find them (yes find them) The amp would not get anywhere close to bias points, until I found / replaced them. May have been a easy fix for someone that actually knew where they were (on pcb between the transformers in a somewhat hidden compartment), but took me days to locate...a very complicated amp that just sounded OK.
