Grid stopper resistors

I was stuffing one of my Aikido boards and Broskie had noted to use good quality resistors for the grid stoppers and so I put in carbon film resistors. But then I remembered that most people use carbon comps for grid stoppers. Can carbon film be used here, or are they too inductive?

Carbon films should be OK if the resistance isn't unusually huge. Only way to really find out is to try 'em and see what happens.

As grid stoppers are there to reduce oscillation, and I seem to remember grid stopper resistors are a cheaper alternative to using chokes, then I think a little induction would be a good thing.
