What's a good sub under $100 dollars that sounds good? 🙂
If its a 15, The price can be a bit more 🙂
I used a 15" Dayton Audio for a buddies home theatre installation and that thing hit 🙂
Too bad it requires a big *** box.

Dayton makes pretty good subs, note they have different versions for various uses and power levels. So what kind of power and box you going to need to use? Type of music/use/etc? Just one sub? If you are looking for quality sound, dayton is not a bad choice at all for that price range. I want to try a mach5 next time I buy new and they fit what I want to do. Thinking about an MJ to run IB but not sure yet, might have to try another idea first.
I want something that I can work into my false floor. I've got a VW GTI and am wanting to build a false floor. Haven't measured the dimensions yet and don't know how much space I have to work with. Can you give me a link or two to a sub that will work well? I mostly listen to rap, reggae, some techno/trace, and rock sometimes.
15" have a hard time keeping up with fast music.
I have 2 12" in my car, and they have a hard time keeping up with the bass when it's hitting fast.
15" are fantastic for hip hop and all that...
But I wish I went with 10" Actually.

Lol, you know many say that is not true but I still wonder myself. I ran 10s for a long time, just ran more of them for more output. Now I have 12s and they work, have great bottom, but don't sound the same of course no two cars do. My parametric eq helps a lot though, I can now get the punch and rumble out of them. In wanting to trade my 4 12s for 2 15s...I'm still not sure what to do. I would need to fit 4 dvc 10s or 8 svc 10s for my 2ohm amps...8 might be as heavy as these 4 12s I think are too heavy. (IB mount, but 8 10s may not fit.Hass said:15" have a hard time keeping up with fast music.
