Well, I've enjoyed this forum for over two years now and I never did get around to introducing myself. I know there are a lot of Ausies here and in particular, Melburnians!!
I've never owned a commercially made loudspeaker and I've been building my own since 1971. Plenty of designs and manufacturers such as my first Kef Concerto kit into a TL, Tannoy, Rogers, Peerless etc etc have come and gone over the years. Dabbled a little into kit amps such as Dynaco and Lindsley Hood many years ago but I still keep gravitating back to the speaker construction. I still love good vinyl recordings, feel the best examples are superior, but I don't make the mistake of discounting digital out of hand.
I've always had good friendly advice on this site and although I'm not a prolific poster, I'm here most days and really enjoy it. I'm always interested in hearing from likeminded Melburnians or Novacastrians as I seem to be increasingly splitting my time between both cities.
Cheers,
Keith

Welcome to the forum. But, would you mind not pinching your sign-off line from our politicians? They need it for our up-and-coming election.
