    Are any of these relatively in-expensive Hifi orientated full range drivers suitable for car audio?

    the car is a Little Citroen AX with a Panasonic Head Unit

    The only one recommended to me was the Fostex FF85K 3", and to pair it with a mid bass like a 7-8". It would need to be aimed at you to work right and maybe need some eq work. Some have used the tang band, but I don't know how well they worked. Can you put them in an enclosure? You likely will need one if you are thinking of running them below midrange frequency...don't think they are so good at IB say in a door but I don't know for sure. The issue with a larger cone is they get directional, if not aimed at you the treble goes away. So a 6" that may work in a home is not so good in a car unless you make pods in the kicks that aim right at you/etc. I was thinking of trying dual 2" for highs but don't have the guts or time yet. For cheap in a car I'd rather try this http://madisound.secureserverdot.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1585 or car speakers. I've bought used for $15/pair that worked fine. If you just want to screw around, I'd say look at the response and drill down into some forums about that stuff and go for it.

    Does it have separate tweeters? I'm not sure, I always default to cheaper car speakers when in question. I have bought used of good brand for near nothing and they worked nice, say infinity or polk, on ebay. So if you want to experiment that is cool, if you want good sound then if me I would shop around. I've picked up sets for $15 before out of retail lots, they were new-ish and tested.
