Test Equipment:

Hickok 539B Tube Tester:

Tester with good original roll charts, and all manuals. In fairly good working order. Meter sticks at very top of range (and always has since acquired) but has never caused an issue for me. I've owned this tester for over 25 years and it has been well cared for. Looking for B.O. over $600.00

Tektronix 2245 Scope:
Four channel 100MHz Analog Scope with microprocessor based control. One of the last with CRT. Channels 1 & 2 are full featured, 3&4 are primarily intended to support logic and have 1V/5V division sensitivity only, dual time base. Very good condition and in good working order. Looking for $300.00

Amber 5500 Audio Test Set:
In good working order, performance pack (highest performance version), with user/maintenance manual. Good working order. Self calibration routines. This is a large, heavy, serious piece of test equipment with GPIB. Looking for $600.00

Digital Audio:
Sonic Frontiers SFT-1 CD Transport
Works well, new tray loader belt. SPIF, COAX, AES/EBU, Toslink, ATT ST-Glass Outputs. Works fine and in decent condition.

Assemblage DAC 3
I assembled this from the kit back in 2000 for a friend. The unit is in good working order and looks clean. The case of the relay used to select ST glass input option has a damaged case but appears to be working.

  • 4 x PCM1704 D/A converters,

  • PMD100 HDCD digital filter/decoder.

Will throw in ridiculous audiophool spdif coax cable for free as part of the deal!

Would prefer to sell together.. $700 for the pair.

Integrated Tube Amplifier:
Audioromy M828A with some modifications: Volume control replaced with inexpensive stepped attenuator, upgraded coupling caps, replaced some HV electrolytics on audio and psu board. Good working order, near mint mechanical condition. $400.00 or B.O.

Hi Charles,
I will have verify exactly what it has as I don't have the information handy, but it has the low distortion, low noise options for both source and analyzer. Balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs on both A and B channels. (Telco TRS jacks which require the proper plugs + BNC) It has the A wtg filter option. GPIB also. The most important thing is I have the manual which is pretty critical to being able to use this unit effectively.

It works very well, but I realized I hardly ever use it and it takes up a considerable amount of my limited work space as you have probably noticed. I mostly use the 3501A or the FFT hardware I have.

There's a bit of a learning curve, but once mastered it's very easy to use.
