Have a wonderful Synology DS212J NAS that I was using as a music server in a RAID 1 configuration so that I wouldn't lose any of my ripped CD collection. Worked PERFECTLY all these years, and I just upgraded to a DS214 model as I found a really good deal on that. After the upgrade (mainly as the new NAS has a more powerful CPU for video transcoding) - there's almost no difference as a Squeezebox server. Highly recommended!

The Synology web user interface is a treat, and the company has made a great product that is a pleasure to use. I set it up to email me monthly reports on the HDD disk health, which it has, as well as emailing me whenever there was a power outage, or any other unexpected events - has absolutely never let me down. Has great apps on Android to interface with it - check it out at the Google Play Store (just search for Synology and look for DS Audio, DS File, etc.).

Looking $105, firm + shipping (should be $10 - $15 for most of the US).
