Matching a Part Number does not require a bias nor would it produce a curve. Smart people would know that.
I think it was a joke, since there is no such thing as a "matched" pair of CPUs. They are the same CPU, but the way matched pair is typically used in electronics means they are selected for some specification beyond just being the same part.
