This tonearm came to me recently in a package deal with a TT, and I haven't decided yet if I'm keeping it. It's a Consonance T988 Oil-damped Unipivot. The arm hasn't seen much use at all, I'd rate it 9/10 or better. Lots of rave reviews. It uses a similar wand/cup, and wiring arrangement to what you see in the VPI-JMW unipivot arms. Retail is $695, and you can buy the 12-inch wand for it as well.

Mostly cash, but I'd consider a Rega or Jelco arm, a SUT, a small DAC, or maybe a few nice jazz LP's. If it's diy parts it'll have to be something pretty special or interesting.
