I am the original owner. Had purchased these direct from Burson Audio
in 2009'ish and installed them (but not soldered into) into my Promitheus
Audio solid state DAC. Made a big difference in the sound quality. Worked
great for about 1 1/2 weeks, then one of the OpAmps stopped working.
Since I also had two, single Audio-gd OpAmps (Sun versions) on hand,
those were swapped into their place. These Bursons have been in storage
since. I just tried them again in my DAC prior to posting this and nothing
has changed. Thus the working OpAmp saw only a few hours of total use.
Just to clarify, what is being sold is: Two Burson Audio generation 1 single
OpAmps. ONE DOES NOT WORK and has been labeled as such. The
intent for the sale is 1) that someone may need just one of these or 2) that
an electronically savy individual may find the inoperable OpAmp an easy fix
or 3) pieces parts may be canabalised from one or both OpAmps. The price
is just enough to cover my time and effort for the sale.

*Require an 8 pin DIP Socket for plug and play swapping.

The OpAmps have been rolled up in layers of bubble wrap and then sealed into
a sturdy cardboard box with clear packaging tape. They are well protected for
shipping.
