I have a first gen sonic impact t-amp I want to give away. Here's the deal: got it a year and a half ago for use in my office. Worked fine. Took it on a trip and when I returned it makes a hissing noise regardless of the volume of the music (which sounds fine), adapter, batteries, etc.. It's a hiss that won't go away. I took it apart to see if there was anything really obvious going on and couldn't find anything wrong with it. I considered switching out the binding posts as a start, but ya know? I just don't really have the time to mess around with it now and we are moving and I am in housecleaning mode. So, if you want it and live in the US, shoot me an e-mail (dogfish8@mac.com). It is all snapped together but the case is unscrewed. Also, I took the springs out of the red speaker binding posts (both included) because I thought that there was something stuck in there. One of the springs got a little stretched out in the process, but you probably want to remove them anyway.
So, if you have something to trade, cool. Otherwise I just want it to go to someone who might be able to use it rather than tossing it or having it sit here forever.
