😕 Can anyone out there help me with a problem I am
having with my fostex fe 206e drivers. I need to know which box
is right for this driver? A horn loaded box or a bass reflex. I have
them in a double front baffle and it is open at
the back. Just wanted to see if I would like them before I would
build a box and I sure do. They are bright on some cds but on
others hold on it is so heaven sent to much for me to handle.
I have heard people on the web say to put a notch filter on them
to calm them down in the treble but, will that hurt their sound
stage or the clearness they have?? I need help on this and which
notch filter do I need I have never done this before sorry. I am so
happy with everything else they do. I can always add a sub. I am
using a onkyo stereo amp bright I know and a 60.00 cd player
monster cables and straight wire cables for the cd player. I am
looking at dh labs speaker wire and cables and saving for the
tube gear now the cd player which one? Well
if you can help please let me know or know of
a better fullrange driver or how I can fix this
one please e-mail me. They are 7 hour or
more broken in. Thanks jm
