Anyone know the name of the font used on the front panels of the F3/F5/F6/F7/B1, etc.?
(It's the one where the x-height is a very high percentage of the cap-height.)
Thanks,
Jeff.

Oh, and what's standard operating procedure for naming DIY builds: should it be "F3 clone" or "Firstwatt F3 clone" or something else?
with FW , you'll be interested in Adresack.otf, Adresack.ttf and PlazaStd.otf
yes, "clone" is mandatory ..... on front or back plate

F3 DiY 🙂
It's not Adresak, it is Gradl - an old Microsoft font 🙂
Small caps not used, but it is all uppercase with lower font size.

This is probably worth reading.
Quick thoughts on trademark infringement | Logo Design Love

Keep in mind that the way U.S. law reads is that in order to
retain intellectual property rights, such as patents and
trademarks, it is essential to defend them. If a party can point
to a prior example where infringement was allowed or ignored,
then he wields a powerful argument
In a few years the Aleph patent will have expired and become
public domain, although the Aleph trademark will not, at which
time people can sell all the pcb's and amplifiers for profit they
like, calling them something else.
😎
I personally don't know where the line is from being ok to not ok. What ever you do, don't start selling off your gear using those fonts with firstwatt and the product name.

This is interesting too.

I don't think Jeff's personal circuit board is in great danger of diluting the brand. 🙂
