First build, almost done

I'm almost done my first build, and getting ready to enter the testing phase. I've never built a set of speakers before, so it's been a learning process, that's for sure. Lots of little things I'll do better next time, and lots of small defects that likely only I'll ever see, but so far I'm happy with how they turned out. I don't have a real workshop, so I had to relay on our equivalent of Home Depot to do the cutting, the routing in my buddy's backward, and I finished with most of the assembly and painting in my hallway. But I purposefully wanted a white faced speaker with wood back and sides to match my flooring and my entertainment unit.

Main driver is the Dayton Reference RS180-8 and the tweeter is the SDC26ADC-C0001. The veneer was a white oak. I still have to clean the front face up a bit more and I'll likely put on a light coat of furniture wax. But I couldn't wait to set it up and take a look at least.

Thanks for all the inspiration and help here so far!

That's next on the list! I actually just finishing building one that I designed blind from the specs - 4th order LR crossed at 2kHz. It actually sounds really nice, but I haven't done any measurements. I just built one to test out one speaker. But I wanted to have one to compare once I started doing measurements.
