I'm looking at transformers for a pre-amp project. I need 9.3 volts at 1.2 amps for the regulator circuit that I want to try, so I'm considering a couple of different 10 volt Triads. The VPL10-2500 produces 10 volts @ 2.5 amps when secondaries are series connected. The VPL20-1200 produces produces 10 volts at 2.5 amps when the secondaries are parallel connected. Is there an advantage one way or the other?
