Has anyone found a replacement for this that’s available?
I have a soundstream amp here and that’s the only thing that’s bad in it .
Or is there a way to make a doubler diode using regular diodes ?

I found this link yesterday whilst angrily googling links to damn Soundstream with... 😀
FED16BT to FEP16BT
FED16BT to FEP16BT
You can hardwire two MUR820s but there isn't likely enough space to do it where there is good clamping force.
That diode is a positive rectifier and much larger. Would you have enough space for that? The APT30D60BHB is a doubler but with the reverse configuration.
You told me to use the MUR820 to make a doubler .
Would the MUR1520 work also or not ?
If they will work how do I connect them in circuit .

You can use the 1520. For this amp. a 3 amp rectifier would likely survive. I keep the 820s in stock, that's why they came to mind.
So I would need 4 of them in place of 2of them correct ?
Also do I connect the 2 legs to pads 1 and 2 then the tab to the center pad or how do I connect these into the amp ?

Yes
You don't connect to the tab. Match the internal diodes of the 2-legged rectifiers to the ones in the doublers. Look up the datasheets if the cases have no markings.

I ended up going with FMU32U since I had a couple of them here .
Am I over looking it or does this amp have no gain control ?
