I have an F3 on loan. A few questions arise:
1. can I safely drive only one channel of the amp (for a/b comparison purposes, L channel my old amp, R channel F3)?
2. how suitable is F3 for 12ohm horn 112db tweeter (bi-amp config, active crossover at 2kHz)?
3. how suitable is F3 for mid+tweeter horns combo (series-passive crossover, 12ohm tweeter, 16ohm midrange)? Midrange will play down to 250Hz.
4. in both above scenarios about how much power will I get from F3?
Thank you,
Herman

I thought the F3 increases power into higher impedance.
10w into 4ohm
15w into 8 ohms
?? into 12ohms, 16ohms, 25ohms?
Wrong?

according to user manual :
max unclipped output voltage +/-13V , meaning 26Vpp
that's 26/2/1.4142=9.19Vrms
P=Urms^2/Rload
9.19^2/12=7W
so , I was right , roughly

That's the silliest way of comparing two amps, really.
