Hello all.
I was quite satisfied with my two ACA amps in parallel mono mode driving DIY 4 ohm speakers (woofers are double voice coil units wired in parallel). Summer is over up here and I am contemplating again Class A operation for the Winter... I already built an ACA Mini (see photo, below the two ACAs) as a stereo amplifier, but I have another complete kit yet to be built. Before I go ahead and make myself a pair of Mini Monoblocks, I would like to hear from folks who have used their ACA Mini in parallel mono mode. That would certainly help. Cheers!

Don’t have the mini model but don’t believe there is any electrical or sonic difference. Experience with the parallel mode in my case is it is outstanding. You are not going to fill Albert Hall with sonic bliss but for a dude sitting a few meters away from some efficient speakers. A few tenths of a watt is stunning. Build it and try it!
Yeah... Just looking for an excuse to get a 3rd kit so that I can have 2 monoblocks and keep the stereo one...
I find that 5 W is plenty when sitting down and listening in my living room. I only need higher power when I am puttering around and need to fill the house with misic. Thanks for replying!

How'd it go?A 3rd kit is on its way!!! Will report once I've built everything.
I'm curious about building either a pair of parallel Minis or perhaps a single Mini Max. (And this would be my first build).
