Exchange Dynaudio D-11 with Morel CAT 378?

I have a two 4-way Boxes with 30W54, D-54, D28, D21. Now one of the D21 is defect.

Can I exchange Dynaudio D-21 with Morel CAT 378?

CAT 378 is equivalent to D28. If I were you, I'd take both D21's out of circuit and let D28 play hf full range.

The only challenge is getting around the weird delay networks Dynaudio uses, which are often integrated into the filter slope.

Finding a 19-21mm WGed soft dome isn't easy. You'd have to employ the services of a CAD person and have them design a small WG for one of the popular 19mm Scanspeak, SB or Seas domes. Otherwise you have to send in your old D21s to Dynaudio for repair.

Very nice idea. I had really the impression, that the Box without the D21 now makes more sound at the high frequencies than the other box with the 25 years old but still working D21. But that can be subjectiv...
