exaU2I or waveIO with Ians FIFO?

Hi,

I haven't seen this addressed, hence the question. One seems to be all in one, the other is not, although overall costs are about the same.. give or take.

exaU2I to DAC via I2S

or

waveIO - Ians FIFO - reclock - to DAC via I2S

??

DAC is TDA1541A via I2S (or PCM ?_)

Need input.

Well...I have both, but did not used the exa, as it does not support linux. Waveio with fifo is excellect. If you decide to go for exa, let me know, I have a spare one.

Thanks for that, I'll certainly keep it in mind..

Would you expect the exa (by itself) and the waveIO with fifo to be essentially the same ? (linux support aside)
