i tried to do a search but could not quite find what i was looking for
i want to build a stand mount 2 way
comprising of an eton 7 inch woofer 7-373 hexacone long throw
and a scanspeak revelator tweeter (or possibly seas excel tweeter)
i have never built a speaker before but i want to try and i don't mind
if a make a few mistakes along the way regarding crossovers or wiring
or cabinet construction or veneer as long as i don't damage the drivers
hopefully eventually i will come up with a speaker i can feel is successful
i do have a friend who is a good woodworker who can help me out with
the tools i will need or worse case scenario i can have the cabinet built as
there is a great loudspeaker cabinet maker nearby
i will be responsible for the crossover and wiring and internall fill and mounting
the speakers
never tried this before so i should buy a speaker building book
could there be a kit out there that fits my needs ????
how do i find out the design and size and crossover that i need ???
i would prefer a rear ported speaker with first order crossovers if possible
thanks for any replies or help
