Hi,
Anyone know where I can find an off-axis response plot of the ESL 57? Someone has asked me to make a pair of tweeters to match them and I can only find what I want for the ESL63!
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
Reasonable horizontally and poor vertically from what I recall seeing.
Matching would be difficult, possibly pointless ?
In other words a tweeter running over the last octave could be set
at a levell that fills in but not fully compensates vertically whilst
being lower level on
conjecture though...
FWIW IMO a Neo3PDR used dipole (without the rear chamber)
might be a good option, response is very overdamped / low Q
open backed and it would only need a simple c/o.
🙂/sreten.
Make sure the treble can be driven and the treble panels have not lost sensitivity

Hi,
I already have plans for what to do in terms of making it, I just need off-axis plots. I did find some but they are poorly scanned and hard to read. Will do though.
