thread and am wondering a couple things
1. After the mod (changing the wires what is removed?) I will remove the lamp and the ballast and power supply for the ballast?
2. Can I use the bulb until it actually blows. like keep reseting the lamp timer and when it jsut stops working I will do the mod. I am wondering will it "blowing up" affect the actual unit mechanicially.
