Hi,
Anyone who have experience using this line stage transformer by Elektra-Print. I am in search of a different but good sounding pre and came across with a transformer coupled design specifically made by Elektra-Print. I wanted to know the primary and secondary impedance of the L-3500 being at 8:1 ratio. Would also appreciate your comments on this topology. Thanks in advance..

turns ratio and impedance ratio
I'm not familiar with the circuit for which that transformer was intended, but impedance ratio is usually the square of the turns ratio...so 8:1 turns ratio means 64:1 Z ratio.
In hindsight, I can't recall if texts explain/derive this relationship or if there are any qualifiers for it to always be true.
